定義
熱交換器の設計に用いる平均温度差。LMTD=(ΔT₁-ΔT₂)/ln(ΔT₁/ΔT₂)。
熱解析における役割
熱解析において、LMTDはFourierの法則に基づく温度場の計算に関連する。
$$ \rho c_p \frac{\partial T}{\partial t} = \nabla \cdot (k \nabla T) + Q $$
