The graph concentration unit is mol/L. The tool does not have a direct pressure slider, but concentration scaling can represent volume changes: for gas reactions with delta-nu not equal to zero, compression shifts equilibrium toward fewer gas moles. Adding inert gas at constant volume leaves partial pressures unchanged and does not shift equilibrium.
Pressure and concentration need careful interpretation. For gas reactions, a volume change scales partial pressures and changes Q by the factor lambda^(delta-nu), so if delta-nu is not zero, compression shifts the equilibrium toward the side with fewer gas moles. For 2SO2 + O2 <-> 2SO3, halving the volume gives Q=K/2 for the same composition, so the reaction shifts toward SO3. Adding inert gas at constant volume does not change the reacting gases partial pressures, so it does not shift equilibrium.
